The Taiwanese Acer puts its latest Android tablet on sale in our country. It is called Acer Iconia Tab A100, and it has the peculiarity of having the most advanced version of Google's system for tablets, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and it does so in a comfortable, handy and very portable format, presenting a seven-inch screen and a weight of 410 grams as the main assets compared to the competition.
However, perhaps there is one point that is even more suggestive to its target audience: the fact that it costs only 300 euros, a very competitive price for having a device with these characteristics with the most complete and powerful edition of the Android platform than Google. designed with this product category in mind.
The entire configuration of the Acer Iconia Tab A100 seems to have been designed around some of the features that users are looking for in a tablet. Thus, we have port USB standard output HDMI for high definition, the ability to play videos in FullHD and capture photos with maximum resolution of five megapixels. Also it features a second camera in the front of the device, with a resolution of two megapixels.
The fact of being a compact terminal in size does not have a translation in power and performance, since this Acer Iconia Tab A100 installs what could be considered as the main processor of the most powerful devices in the industry: the NVIDIA Tegra 2, a chip of dual - core with a rate of one GHz.
On the other hand, the Acer Iconia Tab A100 equips an excellent sound profile thanks to Dolby Mobile technology, which guarantees that the reproduction of multimedia contents will have a great audio output. Something that will be very useful when we hear music or we release videos directly from the terminal.
The Acer Iconia Tab A100 includes an eight GB memory as standard. However, if it fell short, we could extend it with up to an additional 32 GB using microSD cards, as the Acer Iconia Tab A100 includes an expansion slot. It is a very interesting option in case, for example, we had a mobile phone with music and videos on the microSD card that it has installed and we would like to transfer it directly to the Acer Iconia Tab A100.
