Last week, the South Korean Samsung presented the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the second generation of its peculiar way of understanding how a device should be halfway between the smartphone and the tablet. It was at IFA 2012 when the terminal was seen, which has also brought with it a retinue of accessories with which to customize the appearance of the equipment, while proposing solutions to make its use more comfortable.
It is the guys from Slash Gear who have shown the accessories display that Samsung has shown in Berlin for its new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. In this sense, those of Seoul have left practically nothing out. There are two lines of work in this regard. On the one hand, accessories that serve as the basis for the device; on the other, accessories that function as aesthetic protectors for the terminal.
Regarding the first, we see how Samsung has designed the classic docks with which to hold the phone while it is charging. There are also small keyboards that extend the user experience with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. As for the second, we could highlight a couple of elements, some more innovative than others.
And, it seems, the South Korean firm would have adapted the concept that was released with the iPad 2 and that has also been seen in a version designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It would be what is shown on the display as Flip Cover, a magnetic cover that adheres to the terminal and protects the screen, but which after a proper and simple operation, folds to hold the smartphone in two positions.
In addition to this, we also checked two types of more conventional housings: some of the complete type, which wrap all the equipment, and others limited only to the back of the terminal, with a more decorative rather than protective function. Other accessories that are left uncovered for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would be the S-Pen pencils, which can be seen in various colors, in case we wanted to have a wardrobe of these peculiar stylus pointers.
On the other hand, not only have we seen some of the solutions to customize the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and expand the functions of the device. The version fully integrated into the tablet concept of this device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, also carries its own. And in fact, the same exhibitor shows some of the proposals that the South Korean firm offers to users of this terminal.
In this sense, little news: we observe some of the common suspects that can be found when looking for accessories for a tablet, among which we see protective cases, stand- alone or keyboard bases and a catalog of cables, adapters and additional external batteries. At the moment, the launch details of these lines of accessories for both teams are unknown.
