This weekend dozens of users have reported in different forums and social networks the receipt of a call through the number 913333874. Apparently the calls are made during the night and even at dawn. The prefix 913 belongs to the Community of Madrid. Is it a spam number? Do you belong to a company? Or maybe to some public body? We see it below.
Who is 913333874?
"I have a missed call from this number at 2 in the morning", "They say they are from my bank, but I don't trust anything", "I think it's BBVA, but I'm not very sure"… These are some of the testimonies that we can find on the Internet around the number 913 33 38 74. Who is it really about?
BBVA, this has been confirmed by the company itself through its official Twitter account. Apparently, online banking services have suffered a drop that has affected all transactions made from last week until now. The call is limited to revealing the codes and the amount of money involved to accept the banking operation that we have previously requested through online banking. That is, it is not a scam of any kind.
These codes are usually supplied by means of a simple text message. As all the servers were down, the codes were supplied via phone call several hours later. Systems are expected to return to normal in the next few hours. If in doubt, it is best to go directly to our bank through customer service to avoid any type of unauthorized money operation.
