5G is being implemented little by little in our country. Currently only Vodafone offers lines and 5G coverage in the Spanish territory, and only in some of the big cities. However, manufacturers are already launching their different devices with 5G connectivity. Huawei, Samsung, LG or Xiaomi are the ones that already have models with support for this type of network. Here all the devices you can buy today.
Huawei Mate 20X 5G
Huawei's Mate 20 X is one of the largest and most powerful terminals that we can find today. This was recently updated with a 5G version, where the characteristics of the Mate 20 X are maintained, but with support for Vodafone's 5G SIM. It can now be purchased at Espacio Huawei, the company's store located in Madrid. As well as in the main online stores. Its price is 880 euros.
The terminal has a 7.2-inch screen with a Full HD + resolution. Inside we find a Kirin 980 processor, the high-end chip that the Huawei P30 Pro also has. A Balong 5000 chip is added to this Mate 20 X, which is the one that adds support to 5G networks. It is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 128 GB.
In the photographic section we find a triple main camera configuration. The primary sensor has a resolution of 40 megapixels. A second 20-megapixel wide-angle camera and a tertiary sensor with a telephoto lens and a resolution of 8 megapixels are added. The front camera is 24 megapixels. I am not forgetting the autonomy: 4,200 mAh with fast charge.
Samsung Galaxy S10 + 5G
The Samsun Galaxy S10 + with 5G was announced on the same day as the launch of the new Galaxy S10. But it takes a little longer to get to market. It has been on sale for a while for about 1,060 euros. Thus being one of the most expensive models, but also one of the most powerful. The Galaxy S10 + 5G has a Qualcomm processor, since this American manufacturer adds support for 5G networks in its processors. It moves thanks to a RAM of 8 GB with an internal storage of 256 or 512 GB.
Here the camera also has a lot of prominence, since it is not the same that we find in the Galaxy S10 and S10 +. Yes, the main 12-megapixel sensor, a second 16-megapixel camera and the 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom remain. However, we find a lens with depth of field for blurring and measuring 3D objects. This sensor is also added to the front camera, which allows us more precise portrait mode selfies.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G
One of the most recent models on the market, the most powerful and also the most expensive. Samsung announced a 5G edition of the Samsung Galaxy S10 +, the largest. This device can be purchased exclusively with Vodafone at a price of 1,310 euros for a single version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It is only available in black. The terminal mounts a 6.8-inch panel with QHD + resolution. Unlike the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, which have an Exynos processor, this one mounts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, since it allows to apply a 5G module.
In the battery we find 4,300 mAh. This battery is compatible with both fast charging and wireless charging. In the photographic section there are no great news regarding the Galaxy S10 + 5G. We find a quadruple lens. The main sensor is 12 megapixels. It is followed by a secondary lens, also 12 megapixels, with a telephoto lens. The third camera is a 16 megapixel ultra wide angle. A ToF sensor is also added for depth of field, which not only allows us to have a better blur, but also adds AR functions, such as masks for photos or the possibility of applying stickers.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
Until a few months ago, 5G terminals were focused on the high-end, but manufacturers also want to bet on somewhat cheaper models so that more users can have access to these networks. Samsung recently launched a new member of the Galaxy A family, the A90 5G. This has a price of 750 euros, being the cheapest in the catalog that is currently available. The benefits are not bad.
One of its strengths is autonomy, we have 4,500 mAh, which is compatible with fast charging. Apparently enough battery to move a 6.7-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. It is a terminal focused on the mid / high range, that is why it includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, which is accompanied with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage in both versions.
Mount a triple camera with a 48 megapixel main sensor . It is accompanied by an 8 megapixel secondary sensor for the wide angle and a third 5 megapixel camera that serves to measure depth of field.
LG V50 ThinQ
This device has two interesting features. On the one hand, the compatibility with 5G networks. On the other, the possibility of coupling a second screen to add more options, such as multitasking or the possibility of using it as a 'GamePad' for games. In addition to this, the device has a triple main camera with 40 megapixels, a second wide angle lens with 16 megapixels and a third 13 megapixel telephoto sensor.
As for the specifications, we find a 6.5-inch P OLED screen with a QHD + resolution. Inside it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage that is also expandable using micro SD cards. All this with a range of 4,000 mAh.
The LG V50 ThinQ can be found on the net at an approximate price of about 1,030 euros. In some stores the promotion of a second gift display is included. If we buy it separately it has a price of 100 euros.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
Xiaomi has different models with 5G, but in Spain we can only buy the Mi Mix 3 5G, an all-screen mobile with a retractable camera. This terminal also has its version without 5 G, which is a somewhat cheaper mobile. It is accompanied by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and a 5G chip, which according to the company itself, provides speeds of up to 2 GB of download.
The terminal has a 6.39-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. It has no frames, as the company has chosen to add a slide-out camera system manually. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB of internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G has a dual lens. The main sensor is 12 megapixels, with a second telephoto camera that is also 12 megapixels. The battery is 3,800 mAh with fast charging and wireless charging. It has Android 9.0 Pie, but it will update to Android 10. Its price is 600 euros.
