It is possible that your mobile is no longer as fluid and fast as it was at the beginning. It is a progressive thing. Little by little he loses agility when opening applications, browsing or writing emails, with the annoyance that this causes. In reality this does not happen for something specific, it is not for a single reason. We can compare a mobile phone with a glass of water, in which it falls drop after drop until one day it completely overflows. The big question is: can we do something to prevent that moment from coming? Next, we leave you six tips to stop your mobile from going so slow, or prevent this from happening.
1. Restart the mobile
One of the first things that we advise you to do if you notice the slow mobile is to restart it. Believe it or not, the usual “turn off and on” of the computer, which has solved so many problems for us so many times, can also be very useful on mobile phones. Keep in mind that forcing a reboot will refresh the memory, freeing some of it and killing running processes that were probably slowing down the terminal. The best thing is that you do not restart only when you notice the mobile excessively slow, we recommend that you do it at least once a week so that your computer does not lose fluency.
2. Keep it from getting hot
Now less, but summer is usually a very complicated time to ask our mobile to be fast as the wind. This is due to the high temperatures. In the same way, during the winter months, those places where the heating is excessively strong, can also end up affecting the speed of the device. It is best to keep the phone away from heat sources and keep it in a warmer or cooler place, away from high temperatures.
When this is not possible, you can install applications like SuperB Cleaner. This app is responsible for managing different processes that are being used on the mobile, reserving the processor and memory for what is really needed and not for other secondary tasks. In this way, it ensures to increase the operating speed of the terminal by up to more than half, and reduce the usual battery consumption by 20%.
The user can click on the cooler, or power the terminal using the button located at the bottom. Thus, in a few seconds, SuperB Cleaner will take care of closing unnecessary applications to free up memory and save battery, something that will speed up the terminal at full speed. It is also able to give information on whether the processor has cooled down when closing these processes.
3. Keep the system updated
It is essential that the mobile has the latest software updates that manufacturers are launching. They not only serve to add new functionalities and improve the design, they also polish errors and correct problems, making the terminal go faster. In addition, they are usually optimized, so that new versions consume fewer resources when performing tasks or using apps. On Android, you can check if you have new trained software updates in Settings, about device, software updates. If you are from iOS, you can check it from the Settings, General, Software update section.
4. Clear the cache
Another tip to prevent your mobile from slowing down and going faster is to clear the cache, the place where all the residual files that are generated when using processes and applications accumulate. To clear the system cache on Android, press the power button and volume down simultaneously (with the mobile off) to enter recovery mode. A menu with various options will then be displayed. Choose among them " Wipe cache partition". Press it to confirm. Then it will start clearing the Android cache. Next, click on “Reboot system now” so that the mobile will restart automatically.
If you want to clear the cache of the applications, something we advise you to do as well, go to the Applications section within the Android Settings. Select all the ones you want and click on Memory. Finally, an option will appear with the name of Clear cache. Press it.
5. Do not save the apps on the memory card
If you want more speed when using certain applications, avoid saving them on the microSD memory card. The technology it uses is lower in terms of data reading and writing speed compared to the internal memory of the device. It is true that you save space, but you lose performance. In this way, if you notice that the phone is quite slow, check that your applications are saved in the internal memory, both in the app settings and in the Android application manager.
Therefore, use the external card only to save files. Also, make sure that this card is at least "class 10".
6. Restore factory settings
Finally, if things get very bad, you have put the above into practice, but you notice that your mobile is still slow and clumsy, you have no choice but to reset the settings to factory settings. Or what is the same, erase absolutely everything to start from scratch. Since the device is going to be clean, as if you had just bought it, it is best to make a backup beforehand, in case you want to keep what you have.
In Samsung Galaxy this option is usually located in Settings, General Administration, Reset, Reset default values. On iOS you can access it in Settings, General, Reset, Reset content and settings.
