Having at home a fiber rate at a good price to navigate without problems every day of the year is possible. Along with traditional operators such as Vodafone, Orange and Movistar other low cost coexist, with really interesting offers that allow us to save a few euros to enjoy fiber at home. This is the case of Lowi, which offers a fiber rate of 100 MB paying 30 euros per month, one of the cheapest on the market with permission from Jazztel. In any case, this operator forces you to pay 70 euros for the router installation fee.
If you are not interested in this and you want to see other options, do not worry, you have different possibilities both in 100 MB and 50 or 200 MB fiber. In any case, before you decide to hire a high speed one, it is best to consider whether you are really going to take advantage of it. And is that if you are not one of those who download 20 GB file packages daily or professional gamer, the 50 MB fiber will be more than enough for you and your family. Why one of 300 or 600 MB? With this speed you will have more than enough to watch streaming content on different computers, keep an eye on social networks or download movies and series in a short time.
With this in mind, we review the five cheapest fiber rates that you can hire this month.
1. Jazztel
One of the best offers to have only fiber at home or at work is from Jazztel. The company has 100 MB at 29 euros for 12 months with the line fee included. The rate also includes the installation and the free router plus landline. The commitment of permanence is 1 year, in which you will pay only those 29 euros. Afterwards, the rate changes to 44 euros, although we imagine that by calling Jazztel to unsubscribe you will get an offer.
And if you also want a mobile rate, this same offer of 100 MB of fiber is available for only almost two euros more with 4 GB of data and unlimited minutes (31 euros per month). You can hire it until the summer and benefit from it for 1 year at that price. In the event that you need more megabytes of fiber, a good idea is to hire the 300 MB from Jazztel, which is now on sale for 41 euros per month for 12 months.
2. Lowi
Lowi is another operator that is ahead of its competitors in terms of fiber prices. In any case, the fact that you charge 70 euros for the installation of the router is detrimental to you, an amount that will have to be added to the bill during the first month. However, it is possible to save this figure if a mobile line is hired by paying an additional 9 euros per month.
Its juiciest offer includes 100 MB of fiber for 30 euros per month, which puts it at the level of Jazztel's. However, unlike this, which requires you to sign a commitment to stay for 1 year, in Lowi that time is reduced to 3 months. In the case of hiring it together with a mobile line so as not to have to pay for the installation of the router, the price goes up to 39 euros per month, which is not bad either. This line has 3 GB for data and unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles.
3. Orange
Despite the fact that Orange is one of the most expensive operators on the market, when it comes to its fiber offering, it is ahead of others such as Vodafone or Yoigo. The 100 MB has a price of 12.80 euros per month + the line installation fee of 18.15 euros per month, which makes a total of 31 euros each month. This offer is valid for 1 year. Once the 12 months have elapsed, you will have to pay 44 euros per month, so we advise you to call Orange before this time to find out if they have any offer or unsubscribe. Prices may have dropped a lot at other companies by then.
Unlike the Lowi or Jazztel offer, Orange adds unlimited calls to national landlines at no cost or 1,000 free minutes to mobiles.
4. Pepephone
In line with the above is the Pepephone fiber rate, although with some advantages over the others. And it is that for only 35 euros per month, this operator offers 200 MB of fiber, 30 euros in the event that you have a mobile rate with the operator. For this, you will have to have both invoices domiciled in the same bank account. But here is not the thing, since if you also have an Inimitable rate paid in the same current account you can benefit from its new loyalty promotion, which discounts one euro for each year with the operator (with a limit of 5 euros).
Pepephone does not include landlines, although it does not require a commitment to stay, registration or installation costs.
5. Yoigo
Finally, one of the best offers of this month is found in Yoigo, especially if you want to have the maximum speed in the fiber market, either because you download a lot or you have a company with several computers connected at the same time consuming bandwidth. The operator offers 600 MB fiber for three months at the price of 100 MB: 37 euros per month (with the line fee already included).
After those three months, the operator will charge 47 euros per month. The downside in this case is that Yoigo requires a 12-month commitment, which means that to benefit from this offer it will be necessary to pay a higher price for 9 months. However, it is still very good for that speed compared to other rivals.
