Gmail notifications are not reaching me
You may unknowingly be in 'Do Not Disturb' mode on your Realme X2. And you have been able to activate it from the side menu, in the bell icon, it is not necessary to enter the settings. If you have the 'Do not disturb' mode active, emails will not be notified until you perform the following steps. Do not lose detail.
- Go to 'Settings'
- Next, 'Application Management'
- 'Show system processes'
- Search Gmail and enter
- 'Manage notifications'
- 'Mail'
- Lower the screen all the way down and make sure to check the 'Allow notifications in Do not disturb status' switch. In this way, you will always receive email notifications, even if you are in that mode.
Battery saver does not turn off automatically
The vast majority of mobile phones, if not all, have a battery saving setting. Thanks to this function, we can put the performance of our device under minimums, deactivate automatic updates, lower the brightness, etc. In general, the mobile tells us when we can activate it by lowering its autonomy by a percentage. But then, we load it up and it should go back to its usual state. There are devices that perform this act automatically. But the Realme does not, we must activate the option so that the battery saving disappears when we reach a certain charge. This is how you should do it.
- We enter 'settings' of the phone.
- We go to the 'Battery' section.
- Now 'Power Saving Mode'.
- On this screen we turn on the 'Deactivate automatically' switch. As soon as the mobile reaches 60% charge, the saving will be deactivated automatically. If you had activated the battery saving above this percentage, it will be deactivated when the battery charge reaches 100%.
- In the 'Energy saving mode' screen we can also set the percentage of which we want the battery saving to be activated, from 5% to 75%.
Problems with the Bluetooth connection
If you have problems with the Bluetooth connection of some devices, take a look at the following tips that we have to give you.
- The first thing you need to know is that, perhaps, the problem is not in the Bluetooth connection of your Realme X2 but in the device you are trying to link. Before making any other move, try pairing another device. If you continue to have bugs, it is possible that it comes from your mobile.
- Restart the Bluetooth. This advice can be used for many other functions. You can even completely restart your terminal. It is something, in fact, that you must do from time to time so that everything continues as the first day.
- When you are going to pair a Bluetooth device, keep it as close to the terminal as possible so that the pairing is effective.
- Make sure you have the 'Visible to other devices' switch turned on
- If you're still having trouble, try turning on Bluetooth first and then activating pairing mode on your device, and vice versa. Sometimes the power-on order can alter the connection between devices in Bluetooth mode.
My Realme X2 is slow
Do you notice slowness in your Realme X2? Well, take note of the following tips that we have for you.
- Restart the phone. Forever. It is the simplest trick and with which you will solve the vast majority of your problems with the device.
- Speed up animations. When we open the applications and see each other between screens, the system offers us animations to make the experience more enjoyable. Sometimes such animations can feel slow. By default, we have them at x1 speed and we can lower them to 0.5 and even deactivate them. To do this, we must activate the Developer Options. In 'Phone information' we will press seven times on the 'Version' section until it warns you that the options are activated. Later, we go to 'Additional settings'> 'Developer options'> 'Animation scale, transition and duration' and set them to 0.5 or deactivate them.
- Uninstall the apps you don't use. When you saturate the phone with dozens of applications that you will not open more than a couple of times later, it is normal that it goes slow. Take a look at the application drawer, because surely there are more than one and two that you no longer use at all.
- Use the 'Phone manager' app. Thanks to this system application you can scan the phone for problems and, with a single touch, fix them.
The ultimate method: format your phone
It is perhaps the most radical method, but also the most effective. With the formatting, you will leave the terminal as fresh out of the box. If you want to save the images and videos, we advise you to connect the phone to a PC and save everything on the hard drive. But, when restarting the phone, do not reinstall any copy, or return photos or videos to your terminal, use it as the first day. This will prevent you from having the slowness errors again. To format the phone, you just have to enter the settings, then 'Additional settings', 'Back up and reset', 'Factory data reset', 'Erase all data'. Set your security pattern and you're done.
