1. Display and design
One of the main differences between the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ is found on the screen. As expected, the vitaminized model comes with a larger panel with more resolution. Specifically, the Note 10+ mounts a 6.8-inch with Quad HD + resolution of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels. That of the Note 10 is 6.3 inches with a Full HD + resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. In any case, both have Dynamic AMOLED technology and are compatible with HDR10 + certification, which significantly improves the viewing experience.
Regarding the design, both the Note 10 and the Note 10+ have surprised with an improved appearance compared to their predecessors. There is almost no presence of frames or elements that disturb the front, except for the perforation that hides the sensor for selfies. However, this is located in the upper central part to disturb as little as possible. Likewise, the curvature has been maintained to improve the ergonomics of the rear and it has been built in glass and metal. The finishes are really elegant and well built. To all this, Gorilla Glass 6 has been included to protect it, and an oleophobic coating to avoid fingerprints. The back is practically the same, with a photographic section arranged in a vertical position and the Samsung seal presiding over the center. The fingerprint reader has been incorporated this year under the panel.
What if they differ in this section is in the measures. As you might expect, the Note 10+ is somewhat bigger and heavier than its little brother. Its exact measurements are 161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm and 201 grams of weight compared to 151 x 71.8 x 7.9 mm and 168 grams of weight of the standard Note 10. On the other hand, it is important to note that the two arrive in a wide variety of colors, but one more in the case of the Note 10. The Aura Glow, Aura Black, Aura White are common in both. The Note 10+ includes another color: Aura Blue, not available in the Note 10. Despite this, the standard model has two others that are not for the Note 10+. These are the Aura Pink and Aura Red, perfect for lovers of pink-red tones.
2. Memory
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is perfect if you are looking for a mobile with a good storage capacity. It offers 256 GB or 512 GB, with the possibility of expansion using microSD cards of up to 1 TB. This is another of the things that differentiate it from its range brother. The Note 10 has a capacity of 256 GB, that is, it comes in a single version, but it also cannot be expanded using microSD, which for some users can be quite annoying. Anyway, you can always turn to a cloud storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive.
3. Main camera
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ has inherited several cameras from the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which in turn has done the same from the Galaxy S10 +. But in its back it has one more sensor: TOF sensor, in charge of measuring the distance to an object or subject. We can say that it is used to achieve a more realistic bokeh mode. This sensor is also now VGA and offers a higher resolution. Its focal aperture is f / 1.4 and it has an aperture angle of 74 degrees.
For the rest, the other three sensors are the same as those of the Galaxy Note 10. We have a 12 megapixel main one with a variable focal aperture that goes from the focal f / 1.5 to the focal f / 2.4, as well as a viewing angle of 77 degrees. This sensor is intended for use in low light conditions. Along with this we find a second 12-megapixel telephoto sensor and focal aperture f / 2.4, which will be the one that will give us the possibility of two-fold optical zoom without loss of quality. The third and final sensor is a 123-degree wide, 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f / 2.2 focal aperture.
4. Battery
The battery is another of the sections where the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ differ more. While the first equips a 3,500 mAh, the second goes up to 4,300 mAh. Both have fast charging, which will allow us to charge the terminal quickly at any time, as well as shared wireless charging. It should be noted that the Galaxy Note 10+ is compatible with a 45W charger, which is not included and will have to be purchased separately. If you decide, you can charge up to 100% in just 30 minutes.
5. Prices
Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ can now be reserved through the official Samsung website. Shipments will begin to be made from next August 23. As you might expect, prices vary from model to model. The only version of the Note 10 (8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of space) is priced at 960 euros. For its part, the Note 10+ with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 1,020. The top version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB goes up to 1,210 euros.
If you can wait a bit, another option to get it a little cheaper, or pay it in installments, is to wait for it to reach operators such as Vodafone, Orange, Yoigo or Movistar. We will be very pending to give you all the information as soon as it proceeds.
