With the arrival of the Huawei P30 Lite, the Huawei P20 Lite has ceased to be the smallest of the family, remaining in the background. The new model arrives with an air of greatness thanks to a more current design, a notch in the shape of a drop of water, a triple main camera or an improved performance. We can say that there are quite a few differences between the two terminals, so the evolution has been quite positive.
The Huawei P30 Lite will be available on April 10 at a price of 370 euros. The P20 Lite can be yours now for only 200 euros. If you don't know which one to choose, and if the new model is really worth paying a little more for, don't stop reading. We reveal five differences that could help you get out of doubt.

1. Display and design
One of the big differences between the Huawei P30 Lite and P20 Lite is found in the design and the screen size. The P30 Lite offers this year an even more protagonist panel, almost without the presence of frames with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. The company has reduced the size of the notch, which now appears as a drop of water. Its rear part has also changed for the better thanks, above all, to the triple camera arranged vertically. In any case, the P30 Lite is somewhat heavier than its predecessor (159 grams vs 145 grams). Despite this, at first glance it appears to be more stylized and thin, thanks to the reduction of frames and its design.

The screen has also grown slightly in this generation, from 5.84 inches to 6.15 inches. The FHD + resolution (2,244 x 1080 pixels) is maintained.
2. Processor and memory
How could it be otherwise, the Huawei P30 Lite houses inside a more powerful processor than its predecessor. It is a Kirin 710 with eight cores along with 6 GB of RAM. This represents an improvement at the performance level, something that will be clearly noticeable when using apps or working with several processes at the same time. It must be remembered that the P20 Lite landed with a Kirin 659 with 4 GB of RAM.
Likewise, the storage capacity has also increased, from the 64 GB of last year to the 128 GB available in the P30 Lite. Both expandable through the use of microSD type cards.

3. Photographic section
Another important difference between these two models is located in the photographic section. The P20 Lite has a dual 16 and 2 megapixel main sensor. Its renewal surprises with a triple camera on its rear of 24, 8 and 2 megapixels. Each sensor has a different functionality. The main 24MP has a focal aperture f / 1.8. This is supported by a second 8MP sensor with a 120 degree wide angle. The third and last sensor is 2MP with optical zoom, and it is the one that will allow us to take bokeh or out-of-focus photos.
Also, the front camera goes from 16 to 32 megapixels, both with f2.0 focal aperture.

4. Battery
Everything has improved in the Huawei P30 Lite with respect to its predecessor, also the battery, although taking into account the larger size of the screen or its performance, it will not really be noticed. This is 3,340 mAh with fast charge, a little larger than that of the P20 Lite, which equips a 3,000 mAh. The good thing is that it comes back with fast charging, so we can have the terminal charged in more than half the charge for only 20 minutes plugged into the power.

5. Price
The last difference that we want to highlight is related to the price of the terminals. The Huawei P30 Lite will go on sale from next April 10 at a price of 370 euros. The P20 Lite currently costs 200 euros in stores like Phone House. This is a fairly important difference, which you will have to take into account when choosing one or the other model. We recommend that if you do a basic use such as browsing, sending WhatsApp or using other simple apps you opt for last year's model. If, on the other hand, you want something more current, with a more modern design, an improved photographic section and greater performance, in this case do not hesitate and get the P30 Lite.
