Samsung is already preparing the Galaxy S10, which will be the next high-end terminal that will renew the Samsung Galaxy S9. The rumors and leaks have already started and little by little they show the possible specifications and functions of the terminal, such as that it will have a triple camera, an on-screen fingerprint reader and more. But I've put all the leaks aside to focus on 5 features I'd like to see on the Samsung Galaxy S10. They are as follows.
New design
Samsung usually renews the design of the S range from time to time and the truth is that the Galaxy S10 has a design change. The next high-end terminal from the South Korean should keep its front frames to a minimum, in the style of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. On the other hand, I would also like to see a change in the back, with new tones, the elimination of the reader of footprints, a new location for the camera…
Triple camera
The new Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro have a triple camera
The Huawei P20 Pro started with this trend, the triple camera is present in other devices, such as the Galaxy A7 2018. The Galaxy A9 even has a four-lens camera. The S10 model, of course, would have to carry a triple camera with a configuration similar to that of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. A high-resolution main lens, a secondary wide-angle lens and the last telephoto lens to zoom without losing any quality. Of course, don't miss out on the bokeh effect function and its AR Emojis, one of the most interesting features of the Plus model.
It would also be good if the camera has a more advanced AI, which allows a recognition of the scenes, adjusts the parameters automatically and allows you to modify them to your liking
Change in interface
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will arrive with Android 9.0 Pie, the new version of Google's operating system. While it is true that Samsung's customization layer is quite complete and functional, it is time to give it a redesign. I would like to see a layer with style to Android Pure, like the new Pixels. I would also like to see the implementation of different functions, such as digital security. This function tells us how much time we spend with the terminal, which apps we use more and gives us options to avoid excessive use.
Another change in the interface is Bixby, Samsung's virtual assistant is progressing little by little, but it still does not mature. For the Galaxy S10 we would like it to be at least in Spanish and with more options for Bixby Home.
A Lite version
Since the Galaxy S8, the company has released two versions of the same model. They usually differ in screen size and cameras. But… why not a Lite version? A slightly shorter version, with a similar design, the same processor and different camera specifications, screen size, resolution… Of course, cheaper. It would be a good option for those users who want a functional terminal without spending a lot of money.
On-screen fingerprint reader
Last but not least: an on-screen fingerprint reader. Fortunately, it looks like the Galaxy S10 will include it, but it is likely not on all models. With the fingerprint reader on the screen we avoid having to lift the terminal from the table to unlock. Also, it is much more attractive in terms of design. There are already devices, such as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro that incorporate it. The OnePlus 6T will also incorporate it soon.
