We already know all the details of the Alcatel Idol 5s, one of the new phones presented by the company at the IFA technology fair in Berlin.
The Alcatel Idol 5s is a slim design phone, only 7.5 mm thick, and it has a hotkey to which different functions can be associated. But, without a doubt, the highlight of the phone is its high quality and totally immersive sound.

1. Attractive design and lightweight finish
The Alcatel Idol 5s smartphone measures 148 millimeters long x 72 millimeters wide and just 7.5 millimeters thick. In addition, it weighs only 147 grams.
The chassis is made of aluminum with a matt design and chrome finishes. The end result is a stylish phone, which will be sold in metallic gray.
The screen is 5.2 inches, with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 2.5D curved glass. The panel has an oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprints from forming.
2. Splash protection
Alcatel's new phone is not waterproof, but it does have splash protection. Therefore, there is no danger of damage if a few drops fall on it, even if the screen gets wet from rain.

3. Quick action key
In previous models, the Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4s, we were already able to enjoy the hotkey Boom. And the new Alcatel Idol 5s also has this button built into the side.
The hotkey has many advantages, as it makes it easier to use the phone and shortens time. For example, with a single touch we can open the camera application, or start a recording, or call a certain contact.
4. High quality sound
Surround sound is one of the jewels on the Alcatel Idol 5s. The smartphone is equipped with dual speakers and a noise-canceling dual microphone.
The speakers are located on the front and generate a surround sound effect that is very easy to operate.
In fact, the audio output settings are regulated with a single parameter and the smartphone learns from the user's tastes. Thus, in each situation, the Alcatel Idol 5s will regulate the music output and the surround effect.
5. Wide variety of camera options
The main camera on the Idol 5s is 12 megapixels and features dual dual-tone flash. The secondary (front) is an 8 megapixel lens. Both can record video in Full HD quality (1080p).
