Some time ago, a feature very well received by users of the app came to WhatsApp: the possibility of being able to delete sent messages. Thanks to it it is possible to retract what we have put in a certain moment in case of repentance. However, there are applications that allow us to know what our contact has deleted, or vice versa: what we have deleted. Through these applications it is possible to reveal that phrase that we never wanted to say, or to know what they are trying to hide from us. Next, we reveal 5 of them.
1. WhatsRemoved +
This application, available on Google Play totally free, will bring those WhatsApp messages deleted by your contacts back to life. WhatsRemoved + warns us that the message has been deleted, showing us the original content. Of course, you can rest assured, because, as reported in the terms of service, no data is collected to use it for profit or to market it.
Setting up the application is very simple. You just have to open it, give it permission to read the notifications and wait for deleted WhatsApp messages to appear. You have to keep in mind that based on notifications, WhatsRemoved + will only work with those messages that we have not seen. That is, it will not be able to show the messages if we have previously entered the conversation screen.
So how do you know if that notification includes a deleted message? When a message has been deleted, WhatsRemoved + will send us a notification, generating in turn a log file within the app. Not only works with text messages, also with audios, videos or images.
2. Deleted Whats Message
This is another of the applications that you can find in Google Play to read WhatsApp messages that have been deleted. Once you have installed it and you see on WhatsApp that your contact has deleted a message, whether you are in an individual or group conversation, you just have to enter the app to see what they had put. Logically, for this you will have had to give previously, during the installation, the necessary permissions.
The application is very simple and collects all deleted messages in the same window with the date and time. This way you can check which one it corresponds to in case you have many active conversations and friends who often regret what they say. It is a free app, but there are advertisements and the typical scoring messages inserted.
3. Notification History Log
Along the lines of the above is the Notification History Log, perfect to clear your doubts and check what your contacts wanted to say. The application allows you to save a historical record of the notifications that arrive at the terminal, including those from WhatsApp. One point in its favor is that we can choose from which apps we want the notification log to show us, being able to limit it only to WhatsApp. Thus, we will avoid that the document is filled with notifications that do not interest us.
To all this we must add a backup system, which further reduces the chances of losing WhatsApp messages deleted by other users. It is a free application that you can download without problem from Google Play.
4. WAMR
This application also operates by keeping track of notifications, which means that the only way to read a deleted WhatsApp message is to give WAMR permission to store them. Keep in mind that if you have notifications disabled or the message is deleted when you are in the conversation, it will not allow time for the app to generate the notification and, therefore, it will not be saved in the registry. This way, it only works when you allow and let that notification pop.
Similarly, WAMR cannot save deleted messages if they are not completely downloaded. So if you are offline, have an unstable connection, or the sender deletes the message before the messaging app downloads it, WAMR won't be able to do anything to save it. Its use is very simple and intuitive, and it not only saves deleted text messages, but also photos, videos, GIFs or stickers.
5. WhatsDelete
If you decide to download WhatsDelete you will have to try, as in the case of the other apps, to have the notifications activated. And it is that this tool works in the same way as the others, making a record of the notifications we receive. WhatsDelete saves all your messages and detects if they have been deleted, notifying the user when it happens. Logically, it will be necessary that you receive the notification to be able to read them. If you are in the conversation when they are deleted, you have notifications deactivated or, directly they do not reach you for any reason, you will be left without knowing what that contact had put.
Keep in mind that in the same way that you are trying to find a tool to read deleted conversations from WhatsApp, other of your contacts could have done the same. This means that when you delete any text, video or photo, you cannot be sure that someone has previously installed any of these applications and that, therefore, they end up seeing the content that you have regretted sending.
