On August 5, Google will definitively close its Google Trips travel application. Thanks to the update code of the new (and latest version), it has been possible to find out that in mid-summer the big G will stop supporting an application that helped us when organizing and planning a trip. The company itself ensures that its functions will be available in other applications of its ecosystem (we cannot forget that through Google Maps we can organize our trip without any problem and that, for example, the Smart Assistant integrates, through Gmail, the reservations of flights and hotels that we have soon).
Despite the announcement, if you want to continue using Google Trip, you can do so after day 5 until Google finally decides to remove the application from its store. However, it is convenient that you look for alternatives to that to continue organizing your trips, especially if your main tool was Google Trips. But stop, don't start the search on your own, leave it to us. We show you five alternatives to organize your trip for when Google Trips ceases to exist. And you do not have to worry more than because your holidays are going to ask for nothing.
How to organize your trip with your Android mobile
Sygic Travel: Travel Planner & Guide
The first thing that the application asks us is that we create an account. If you want to save a copy of your trip and sync it across all your devices, it may be a good idea. If not, we can use it without having to provide our email. To begin, we are going to create the trip we have scheduled, selecting the destination city, first day, last day, place of arrival and accommodation. When we have the data, click on 'Create trip'.
On the next screen we have different icons with which to make our entire trip: map, sites, tours and activities, hotels, car rental, weather forecast, a subway map (if the city has one). By clicking on each of the categories we can have more information, the 'sites' section being the most interesting of all along with the 'maps' section. By clicking on a site offered, we can use the map to get to it.

Hotsgo Plan - Planner & Travel Expenses
This application can be a bit cumbersome when you see it for the first time, but we are going to try to clarify everything so that it is very easy for you to make your trip. As soon as you open it, click on the top icon of the page with the '+' signand, on the next screen, indicate your destination. Once the destination has been chosen, we select the round trip date in the calendar. You will then be asked if you want to create a new 'wallet'. The application calls the timeline 'wallet' in which we will add the different activities of our trip. In each of the days we can include the activity that we are going to carry out, by clicking on the '+' icon. We put the destination of the day, the location and everything we want related to the place. When confirming we will see the site placed on the corresponding day and we can add a new one in the '+' icon.
Then, we can reorder the places within the same day by clicking on the small arrows on the right and dragging, as well as deleting a place by moving the bar to the left, until the trash icon appears. If you look at the bottom bar, we find a section also called 'Wallet'. Here we can write down our expenses and the total budget we have for the trip.

TripCase - Organize your trips
With this application we can also organize our trip in a simple and practical way. We will add the data of our reservation, being able to inform you, at any time, of the status of your flights, receiving notifications in case of last minute changes. This application also connects with Uber so that, at the destination, we can always have a vehicle with which to transport ourselves without having to change applications.

Tripio - Trip Planner
Let's go to what is really interesting in this application, which is the trip planner. If you look at the bottom bar, click on the suitcase icon to start creating our first travel route. To do this, you must make, this time, an account by providing your Gmail email or Facebook account. Now, we put everything related to the trip: destination, dates, place of arrival and departure, personalized color and, as a novelty, we can add friends to our route, indicating their email.
After creating the route, we will add the different elements that will make up the trip. To finish, click on 'Save' and voila, we already have our trip planned for days. We can also create in this application a list or 'checklist' to check that we do not forget anything in the suitcase or any place to visit.

TripIt: Travel Planner
And we finish our review of the best Google Trips alternatives with TripIt. This application is perfect for those who do not feel like planning a trip themselves and prefer that others do it for them. By adding the flight and reservation data, the application will automatically inform you about all the movements that you will have to carry out in order to carry out your trip without surprises or losses. The best application for the clueless who usually gets lost in unknown cities.
