Table of contents:
- * 31 # to hide our phone number when we make a call
- Calendar information, a menu to view calendar events in Realme
- Developer settings, a menu to activate hidden Android settings
- EngineerMode to test phone components
Do you have a Realme mobile? Probably its customization layer seems a bit confusing compared to other manufacturers. Despite this, Realme UI has dozens of functions in addition to the native Android functions. Some of these are visible to anyone. Others, not so much. For this reason we have made a compilation of several hidden settings that we can activate on a Realme mobile, settings that we will have to activate yes or yes if we want to get the most out of our device.
* 31 # to hide our phone number when we make a call
Historically, the code * 31 # has been used to hide our phone number from other people when making a call. In general, this code is prepended to the number we want to call. What you probably did not know is that we can use this command to hide all outgoing calls.
Simply enter the command in the Calls application and then click on the Call button. The system will automatically hide our identity in all the outgoing calls that we make from now on. If we want to disable this function we will have to enter the following command:
- # 31 #
Once entered, we will click on the call button again to disable the function.
Calendar information, a menu to view calendar events in Realme
This curious menu allows us to see at a single glance all the events that we have created in the calendar. The difference with the Calendar application is that the tool will classify these events according to their nature: national holidays, birthdays, meetingsā¦
In this case we will have to enter the following secret code in the telephone dialer:
- * # * # 225 # * # *
Now an interface like the one we can see just above the previous paragraph will be enabled.
Developer settings, a menu to activate hidden Android settings
Those of you who are regular Android users will surely be familiar with this hidden menu. What Android calls 'Development Settings' is a menzoin designed to activate certain tools for developers. In this way, we can perform actions such as changing the pixel density of the screen, speed up system animations, detect hidden Bluetooth devices or even simulate fake GPS locations.
The way to activate this menu on a Realme mobile is really simple. In Settings we will go to Phone information. Within this section we will click a total of 7 times on Version. Android will automatically enable the aforementioned settings.
To access these we will have to go back to Settings and access the Additional Settings option, where we find a new section with the name of the settings.
EngineerMode to test phone components
An option that is only available on some mobile phones of the brand, such as the Realme C1. This hidden menu allows us to do a test of the different components of the phone to check its correct operation. Touch screen, front speaker, fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor and so on.
To activate this menu we will have to dial the following secret code in the Calls application:
- * # 808 #
In some models the command to be entered varies slightly.
- * # 899 #
Automatically we will be shown a menu like the one we can see below.
Within this menu we can perform different hardware tests, as mentioned above.
