The Motorola Moto G (2015) has already landed in much of the world. In our video test of the Moto G (2015) we already anticipated the sensations that this mobile has transmitted to us; They are not bad, of course, but today the mid-range market is full of alternatives that deserve consideration when it comes to buying an affordable smartphone. Therefore, we have proposed to collect three alternatives to the Moto G (2015) for less than 200 euros. All of them mid-range mobiles, with characteristics suitable for daily use and, most importantly, with a price that fits practically any budget.. In this case, we will not talk about Chinese mobiles.
1. Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (4.7 inch)
It may not have had the advertising pull that mobiles from larger manufacturers receive, but in our test of the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (which you can also see on video, by the way) we were left with a very good taste in our mouths by using this alternative from Alcatel. The Idol 3 Alcatel, version of 4.7 inches, provides a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and incorporates a processor Snapdragon 410 of four cores, 1.5 gigabytes of RAM, eight gigabytes of memory (expandable micro SDup to 128 gigabytes), a main camera of 13 megapixel camera, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and a battery of 2,000 mAh. And its screen, by the way, is reversible. If we compare the Idol 3 of Alcatel with the Moto G (2015), what differences are? Of course, we start from the assumption that none of the mobiles on this list is capable of keeping up with the pace of Android updates that the Motorola smartphone will follow (the same goes for water resistance; none of these mobiles have this certificate). But, beyond that, the Idol 3 stands out for having greater RAM memory capacity (compared to the 1 GigaByte of the Moto G (2015)), greater maximum capacity in the external memory card (compared to 32 GigaBytes) and a weight noticeably more content(110 grams versus 155 grams). And the negatives? It has a smaller screen (compared to five inches), its processor operates at a lower clock speed (1.2 GHz compared to 1.4 GHz of the Motorola mobile) and it has a lower battery capacity ( compared to 2,470 mAh).
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (4.7) can be purchased for a price of around 200 euros (in the worst case, we may have to stretch the budget to 210 euros).
2. Honor 4X
When it comes to mid-range smartphones, Honor always has some alternative to offer us. In this case, we are talking about
Compared with Moto G (2015), the Honor 4X boasts a processor theoretically more potent (compared to the Snapdragon 410 quad core the Moto G of 2015), a higher capacity RAM (relative to 1 gigabyte) and one more battery capacity (compared to 2,470 mAh), while losing points in the version of its operating system (Android 5.1.1 Lollipop respect) and the density of pixels on the screen (267 ppicompared to 294 ppi). The size of the screen, being a half inch larger, we are not going to mention it as a better feature or a worse feature; Let each user decide if this size suits their needs.
The Honor 4X is available in stores for less than 200 euros.
3. BQ Aquaris E5 4G LTE
On the part of the Spanish company BQ, one of the alternatives to the Moto G (2015) that we will find is the BQ Aquaris E5 4G LTE. At the moment, the 16 Gigabyte version of the BQ Aquaris E5 4G LTE can be purchased for around 200 euros.
BONUS. ZTE Blade V6
Although it is a bit out of our budget, given its recent presentation we have decided to also include the ZTE Blade V6. We are before
