Android One, Google's mobile platform oriented to emerging markets, has just made its landing in Spain. The BQ Aquaris A4.5 4G is the first Spanish smartphone with Android One, and it is an entry-level mobile that is characterized by incorporating a completely pure version of the Android operating system. Leaving aside the reasons why Google has decided to bring the Android One platform to Spain and Portugal (the most acidic media speak of a mistrust regarding the supposed economic recovery of both countries), this time we have decided to collect three alternatives to the BQ Aquaris A4.5 with Android One.
Technical specifications of the BQ Aquaris A4.5:
- Screen 4.5 inches with resolution QHD (960 x 540 pixels).
- Processor MediaTek MT6735 of four cores, running at 1GHz.
- 1 GigaByte of RAM.
- 16 Gigabytes of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 64 Gigabytes.
- Main camera eight megapixels.
- Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with update support for two years.
- Battery 2,470 mAh.
- Price: 170 euros.
But, unlike our compilations of 3 alternatives to the Moto G of 2015 for less than 200 euros, 3 Chinese alternatives to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 or 5 mid-range mobiles of 2015 just presented, this time we are not going to look only at the price, but we are going to prioritize the key feature of the Aquaris A4.5: the pure interface of the Android operating system. We take it for granted, for a user who considers the purchase of this new BQ mobile, he has to give special importance to the layers of personalization - the absence of these layers, rather.
Therefore, the three alternatives that we have compiled focus on a pure version of the Android operating system, a long-term update policy and, if possible, a relatively contained price.
Is the Moto G of 2015 going on budget? In that case, our best alternative is the Motorola Moto E (2015). Presented during the first months of this year, the Moto E of 2015 (second generation) incorporates a 4.5-inch screen with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. Below its housing, this terminal has a processor Snapdragon 410 of four cores, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 8 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable microSD up to 32 gigabytes), A main camera of five megapixels, the version of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop (in some markets and has been updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop) and a battery of 2,390 mAh capacity.
And beware, because despite its humble technical specifications, the Moto E (2015) is a practically indisputable candidate to receive the latest update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. When, how and where are still unknowns that we can not solve, but nothing makes us think that Motorola has in mind to abandon the operating system updates of such a recent mobile.
At present, the Moto E (2015) can be purchased in the version with connectivity 4G LTE of Internet ultra-fast for a price of around 115 euros.

3. Nexus 5
