11834 charge on the invoice, what do I do?
"Number that charges you a fortune", "I have been charged for a call to this number", "I also receive a charge of 9 euros for an alleged call that I did not make"… These are some of the testimonies that we have been able to find on the Internet around the number 11834. All these practices are illegal, since the company in question has to advise the cost of the call before offering the service. To this must be added that some users have reported never having made a call to the aforementioned payment number.
The solution in both cases is to claim the payment from our telephone operator. To do this, we will have to contact the company in advance through the customer service number. We leave you below with several numbers of some of the most popular companies in Spain:

- Movistar: 1004.
- Tuenti: from the Tuenti application itself.
- Orange: 1414.
- Pepephone: 1706.
- Vodafone: 123.
Apparently, the number in question appears in Google searches as a number to request an online appointment to renew the DNI. The charge that appears on the invoice corresponds to the reason “Especial DATA PREMIUM VENEZUELA 11.CA”.
My company refuses to make a return, what can I do?
If our operator refuses to return the amount charged to our account, the next thing we will have to do is go to a Consumer Office to file a formal claim. This public body tries to defend the rights of consumers against the bad practices of companies in a disinterested way.
To give more weight to the claim in Consumption we will have to provide all kinds of evidence, such as call recordings, screenshots of the call log with the billing date of the call collection, etc. In short, any material that helps us to certify that we have not made the call to 11834 and that our operator refuses to compensate us. Previously, it is recommended to file a claim with the company itself.
The last option: change companies and block bank receipts
If the claim does not proceed and we do not get compensation, the last solution is to carry out a portability to another company and block the bank receipts. If our contract requires some kind of permanence, it is probable that the company will include us in some kind of list of defaulters.
To avoid this, we can turn to the Ombudsman, a public figure who is in charge of mediating in such situations free of charge and disinterestedly. We can use a lawyer, but the cost of the process will be much higher than the amount reported.
