To find out how to watch basic Netflix with ads and if you can watch it, you'll need to check the release date depending on which country you reside . In any case, it will be during the month of November and the specific dates are as follows:

November 1 in Canada and Mexico
November 3 in Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, United Kingdom, United States.
And November 10 (at 5:00 p.m. CET) in Spain.

Once you verify the date, just go to Netflix and sign up for the basic plan with ads. Keep in mind that if you already had another plan, what you will have to do is enter your profile and request the change of plan. The steps to follow would be in this case they are the following:

Sign in to Netflix.
Go to "Plan Details" and then "Change Plan".
Select the basic plan with ads, and then click on “continue” or “update”.
Finally, click on “confirm”.
