Enter the application and go to the main menu (the three lines that appear on the top right).
Once the drop-down menu opens, click on “Settings”, as seen in the following image:

On the next screen, click on “Account”. And once inside select “Original publications”.
You will see that a new screen opens with three different options. To keep everything you post to your account saved to your camera roll, leave all three checked.

The first, “Save original publications”,is used so that when you take a photo directly from the publications section it is also saved in your telephone.
The second, “Save published photos”,is so that the images uploaded to the news section are automatically saved to you in your gallery as you have published them.
And the last one, “Save posted videos”,is exactly the same as the previous one, but with the videos.

How to save an Instagram draft to the gallery

To know how to save an Instagram draft in the gallery first we explain how to save a draft. It is a publication that you are editing to upload to your profile but, for whatever reason, you have to leave it for later. What must be done so that it does not get lost?

Important: the first thing you should know is that if you do not make any changes to the image (such as putting a filter, just like in the example below), the draft will not be saved. The explanation is simple: you already have the exact same image in your gallery.

If you make changes and hit the back arrow, the application, via a pop-up window, will ask you whether or not you want to save the image in Drafts.Press yes.

When you enter the app again, and click publish, two options will appear: publish from the gallery, or from the drafts(if this second option does not appear, you may not have saved them correctly or you may have to wait a few minutes for them to load). Once in drafts you can continue editing the images, publish or delete them.

Instagram does not, however, have a feature to be able to save drafts to your phone,unless you post them, for what the easiest trick for if, for example, you want to post on another social network with Instagram filters, is to open the edited photo from the drafts and take a screenshot.

Enter Instagram Stories and create your publication, whether it's a video or a photo, that you make at the moment or that you have saved in the gallery.
Before publishing, you can save your story by clicking on the download icon: the down arrow that you will find in the top menu of Instagram Stories.
If you have already published the story and want to save it later: enter the story, press the three dots that appear at the bottom right and in the drop-down that opens, click on “Save photo” (or video).And so your storie will also be in your gallery!
