▶ How to see history time in Google Chrome Android
Table of contents:
Have you ever wondered how to see history time in Google Chrome Android? If you use the browser and access the history to find out when was the specific moment in which you visited a certain web page, you will find that the date you accessed does appear, but not the time. This has led many users to wonder why they do not have this information available that is available in the web browser.
To be able to know this information, you have to use another path external to Chrome which, to be honest, is somewhat more tedious to find out something as simple as visiting a website, but it definitely works.
On your mobile, go to 'Settings' and look for the 'Google' section, where you can access all your settings. Next, press 'Manage your Google account' and enter 'Privacy and personalization, where you will find the option 'Activity on the web and in Applications', a kind of extended history that also includes the use you have made of your apps. If that tab is turned on in blue, it means that collects your Chrome history data (among others).
On the screen that will appear, scroll all the way down and you will see the option 'Manage activity', there you can check your activity Access this new page and there you will finally have at your disposal not only the pages and applications you have used (both on your mobile and on your computer), but also the time, as can be seen in the image below.
How to view the complete history
If you are wonderinghow to view the full history in the Chrome browser on your Android device, please note that when accessing it You will only be able to see your activity categorized by dates, not by hours. In the same way, the pages that are reflected in your history in the mobile browser are only those that you have consulted from that terminal, not all those that have been done from that specific user account.
To be able to access the complete history you will have to follow the path indicated above, through Settings –> Google –> Manage your Google account –> Privacy and personalization –> Activity on the web and in applications –> Manage activity. On that screen you can also filter according to the type of Google product you want to consult, that is, you can search all your history in Calendar, Gmail or Google Analytics, not only that of the Chrome browser, so it becomes a very useful tool .
If, on the other hand, you want to gain privacy and have your searches not reflected in your Google activity panel, go to ' Activity on the Web and in Applications' and, if a blue tick is activated in 'Activity is saved', press to deactivate it. This will ensure that it is not possible to consult the websites you consulted in Chrome, nor their date and time.
You also have the possibility to set up a deletion of your activity after a certain period. Google gives the option to choose periods of three, 18 and 36 months to activate automatic deletion, although this possibility is deactivated by default. In this way you will prevent the history from accumulating websites from past times without having to manually delete it from time to time.
