How to make your photos 3D with Google Photos

The Google Photos Memories feature is ideal for reliving our best moments. With it, Google selects several images from our library and then creates a slideshow automatically. 3D photos arrive to memories

Thanks to it, in the next versions of Google Photos, we will be able to enjoy incredible 3D photographs. Actually, the most interesting thing about all this is that it will not be necessary to take the picture with a specific device or in a specific mode. Google's learning engine is able to distinguish the main object from the background and give it a very striking depth effect.

To convert our 2D photos into 3D photos we won't have to do anything. Rather, it will be the application itself that is in charge of converting them fully automatically. At the moment, this function is designed to improve the aesthetics of the presentations shown in the memories section.

New collage designs and more information in memories

In addition to the interesting automatic 3D effect that we have already mentioned, other improvements will come to Google Photos. Keeping in mind the Memories feature, future versions of the app will use much more information to build presentations. Until now, these were based mainly on the date the images were captured. However, soon different themes, groups of people or activities will be used to give this function a greater variety.
