TikTok continues to grow in users despite the intention of the United States Government to ban the App in the country. The social network developed by ByteDance has managed to captivate the most young Americans, becoming one of the favorite applications for teenagers and thus surpassing Instagram, the social network with more than 1,000 million users worldwide.
According to a CNBC report, TikTok is one of America's favorite youth apps, surpassing Instagram and just below Snapchat Only 25 percent of teens list Instagram as their favorite app. Instead, TikTok is the preferred app of 29 percent, while the remaining 34% have Snapchat as the best app. In the previous report, TikTok was slightly below Instagram.
Of course, despite the fact that TikTok wins over Instagram as a favorite app, the social network belonging to Facebook continues to position itself as the most used by US users, with more activity than ByteDance. 85% of users say they use Instagram.
