Some are very Christmassy in style, and others seem to be ahead of the Halloween season. Would you like to get them for your Among Us character? You're in luck, as there's a little trick you can apply to get these new hats for free.
How to Get Halloween and Christmas Hats from Among US
The trick to get these hats that are not available in the Among Us store is to change the day and time of your team.
Halloween-inspired hats will appear if you set your gear to October 30th. And the same dynamic applies to Christmas hats, if you set the date to December 24 or 25. Yes, they are those bonuses that some games give on holidays or when festive dates are approaching.
So if you want to try it out in Among Us games with your friends from Windows, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the date and time on the taskbar, and choose “Adjust date and time”
- Disables “Automatically adjust time” and “Set time zone…”
- Set the time manually
If you are playing Among Us on mobile, then just go to Settings >> Additional settings >> Date and time. Disable the “Use network time” option to set it manually. Note that WiFi can be disabled with these changes.
And to get each pack of hats, try these dates:
- Halloween hats: set on October 30, 2019. It also works for some if they choose other dates close to it or put 2020. If you don't get it the first time, try different times.
- Christmas Hats: You can set December 24 at 23:59 2019 and wait for it to change to the 25th. Or try different times on the 25th.
How to choose hats in Among Us
Once you make these changes, you will see the new hats added to the Among Us shop.
So to select them just choose “Customize” and go to the “Hats” section. You can go try on all the hats you want and see the preview in the same window.
When you get these new free hats they are permanently in your account. So you won't have to apply the cheat every time you want to use them in your game.
