WhatsApp allows you to make a backup copy of your conversations, videos and images. This function is very useful if you are going to change your old mobile for a new one. However, the messaging app does not allow you to backup the stickers. That is, even if we make a backup of the chats or images, the popular stickers will not be saved and when you log in on the new device, they will not be available. Fortunately, there is a little trick to bring all the WhatsApp stickers to your new mobile
The trick is to save all the stickers in a conversation and make a backup copy of it. In this way, when you log in on your new device, the WhatsApp stickers will remain in that conversation and you can save them again.
The easiest way to save stickers in a chat is by creating a WhatsApp group where the only member is yourself From this In this way, you will not bother any friend or user by sending them your entire collection of stickers. To create a group, click on the create chat button that appears in the upper area. Next, click on 'Create group'. Select a trusted contact for that group. It can be a friend or a relative. You can also add a name to the group. When it's created, remove the trusted contact you've added. In this way you will be alone in that group and you will be able to send the stickers.
Click on the Stickers button and send the ones you want to save. Once you have sent all the stickers you want to have on your new mobile, it's time to do the third step: a backup copy of the conversations.
Go to the settings section > Chats > Backup Click on the button that says 'Make a backup'. Now you just have to wait for the copy to complete. Check that the time of the backup coincides with the time of sending the stickers and write it down, since you will need to know it later. In addition, this way you can make sure that WhatsApp has included that group in the copy. After the backup is complete, it's time to perform the steps on the new mobile.
Second part: recover the stickers on your new mobile
Install the WhatsApp application on your new mobile. Next, enter the phone number (must be the same as on the previous device) In one of the steps it will ask you if you want to restore a WhatsApp backupHere you must also check that the date and time of the copy matches the last one you made. If it is the same, confirm the backup by clicking on 'Restore' and wait for WhatsApp to finish the process. Don't worry if you can already enter the conversations but the group does not appear, the backup may take a few minutes to recover all the chats.
When the previously created group appears, check that all the stickers have been sent correctly. Finally save them on your mobile. To do this, click on each Sticker and click on 'Add to favorites'.
