New features to type faster from Gboard
One of the novelties that the latest version of the Google keyboard brings is “Smart completions”. This function, which can be activated from the Keyboard Settings, has a similar dynamic to Gmail's Smart Compose. Uses artificial intelligence to provide suggestions to the user based on context.
As you type, you'll notice that Gboard displays some predictive results for word completion Just select them to integrate with your text. Following this dynamic, you will only have to write the first characters to receive suggestions and choose the correct word. A simple and practical dynamic that will save you time.
This option is activated from Settings >> Spell Check >> Suggestions, as the 9to5Google screenshots show.If you still don't see this option in your account, don't worry, it will be rolling out gradually with the latest update. And as a bonus, this new version brings an option in Settings that allows undo the automatic correction
Auto-correction is a great help, but sometimes it doesn't work correctly. So on those occasions, this "Undo automatic correction" option is used to reverse the correction and return to the original text. It is only necessary to touch the back option to remove the correction.
This is an option that was enabled by default, but considering that some users may not like this dynamic, it is now possible to disable it. Just go to Settings >> Spell check >> Undo auto-correct backspace.
