WhatsApp will allow you to use different backgrounds or wallpapers in different chats

WhatsApp has a beta version for iOS and Android. In this version, the features that will reach the final version are added in order for them to work correctly before being released to all users. Thanks to these betas we can learn about some of the features that will soon arrive in the app. For example, the ability to use different backgrounds in different chats.

The truth is that the function of using different backgrounds or wallpapers in different chats is only in the beta version, but the WABetaInfo portal has had access to this feature that is still under development.This option will allow us to select a different wallpaper in each chat For example, in the conversation with our friend we can have a photo of both in the background, while in that of our couple a background with hearts. In addition, the background brightness level can also be adjusted. We still do not know how a wallpaper can be configured in a conversation, but hopefully it will be through the settings of the chat itself.

Beyond this feature that is coming soon, the beta version has also revealed some changes that will be available very soon First of all , the messaging app has updated the end-to-end encryption option for states as well. In addition, we can activate a warning notification when a chat is end-to-end encrypted.

New privacy policy and bug fixes

On the other hand, the privacy policy is also updated with new points related to payments through WhatsApp. For the moment This new privacy policy is available in Brazil, as it is currently the only country with this option. Taking into account that WhatsApp payments will arrive in Spain later, we will also see a change in the privacy notes later.
