Just a few days ago we told you how to create a chat room for WhatsApp. The system is directly linked to Facebook Rooms, a Messenger feature. Well, this same option also works with Instagram. In this way, if you are more of this social network, you should know that you can also create a chat room to talk with a maximum of 50 people per video call. We tell you how to do it in a few simple steps.
Video calls to 50 with Instagram
Making a video call with 50 people on Instagram is very simple, but if you've never done it before, you may get lost. What we recommend, to begin with, is that you update the application.However, this feature has been available for weeks, so it would be strange if you didn't already have it available. In any case, go to the Google Play Store in case you have any pending updates.
1. And now we go there. Open Instagram on your mobile.
2. Click on Direct (the arrow or paper plane) at the top right of the screen. Next, choose the camera button. It's also in the upper right, right next to the pen and paper icon.
3. From here you can activate a video chat with any person you have on Instagram. Another thing you can do is start a group chat. And for that you have to create a room. This way, you can send a link to start a video chat with whoever you want, even if they don't have Instagram.
4. A screen will be activated in which you will have to create a new room. Simply click on Create room as XXXX .
Invite the people you want to your room
As soon as you have created your chat room, you can start inviting the people you want. The Invite to your room option will be activated automatically, so all you have to do is choose the participants. Click on the blue Send button If you have already sent all the invitations, select Done at the bottom of the screen.
You will then see a screen that reads: Messenger room created. You have the option to copy the link by selecting Copy Link (the button which is right at the bottom). Keep in mind that for others to enter, you must be present in the room.If you're not inside, you'll get a call on Messenger when someone wants to come inside. Also, keep in mind that anyone who has the invitation link can enter your room, so if one of your contacts shares it with another person, they can still enter.
Enter the room to start the video call with everyone you invited Choose Join as XXXX. Once you are inside, you can start chatting. It does not matter that you are not users of Facebook or Messenger. In principle you shouldn't have any problem accessing normally.
