The worst joke you can play on Instagram
Table of contents:
The world can be divided into two types of people: those who play pranks and those who suffer from them. And within the first group, there are those who play very heavy jokes and others who are lighter, there are those who fall into their own trap. The typical 'hunted hunter', an act of poetic justice, the karma that arrives when it should arrive and puts everyone in their place. And that is what we are going to talk about on this occasion, about a supposed joke through which we could change the Instagram username to a third party… when in we were actually changing it ourselves.
The hunted hunter: the Instagram joke that turns against you
According to the information posted on the Genbeta website, the trick by which we could change someone's username is did it like this.
First, we chose the victim and changed our name to theirs. But be careful, not the username (what goes after the at sign) but the username or 'Username' in the profile editing screen, which is what we all see in the accounts of others and in our own. The alleged prankster changed his name to the victim's because, in this way, we would change her profile name. But the joke did not end here, there is a second step.
Then, we would change our name to something else, we had to do the process twiceAnd of course, the prankster was not going to choose something nice to wear, but quite the opposite, something extremely offensive, so that the other person would keep that name without being able to do anything. When, in reality, they were the ones who were going to get that nice insult.
And why would the hunter stay with that name for two weeks? by Instagram policies. The social network does not allow more than two name changes in 14 days, so your business card to all followers would be something tremendously vulgar and offensive. In the end, the prankster, believing that he was going to get away with it, ended up having a taste of his own medicine, exposing himself in front of everyone and revealing himself as, first, a person who likes this type of tricks and, second, as someone who believes everything they say on the Internet. So be careful with the jokes you play, because you can get frogged.
