How to watch RTVE content in 4K quality on your Samsung TV
Table of contents:
In these times, we dictate the way we watch TV and its programs. Before, we had to wait for that program to air, adapting our habits and schedules to what the channel programmers dictated. Now it is the opposite. We have several applications through which we can choose the content we want to see, such as the official RTVE one called RTVE a la carte.
Now, this application is updated to bring its programming to all users in 4K quality. And it does so exclusively for Samsung brand televisions, a brand that will offer this new way of accessing content for the first time, as well as a new advanced interface, with improvements such as content search as well as new program categories.
TVE on demand in 4K thanks to the collaboration of Samsung
Samsung has worked hand in hand to bring users the completely renewed RTVE application, with a catalogue of 150,000 videos between which we can find in the historical archive of TVE: series, programs, news, reports... also including the content in 4K quality that, up to now, has been produced by public TV. Now, the interface of the RTVE app on Samsung Smart TVs is more intuitive, its cover is more in line with current design lines and, among its improvements, we have an advanced search engine search, faster category selection, as well as a new section through which we can see recommended content.
Among the content that can be seen right now, we have series such as 'The Ministry of Time', the eighth season of Masterchef and the Playz channel, with content exclusively created to be broadcast online and with a focus on young audiences.
In addition to this renewed application, users of a Samsung smart TV also have access to Clan applications, with content for children, and TDP+, with sports broadcasts.
So, if you want to see the new 4K content produced by RTVE you should go to the applications section on your Samsung smart TVand update the application. Of course, your television must be compatible with 4K content to be able to view them in that quality.
