Have you ever used Google Lens? It is a tool from the Google factory that uses your mobile camera to detect and recognize real objects that you may have in front of you. Thus, through machine learning we can identify objects of all kinds. All you have to do is point your phone's camera at them. After a quick analysis, Google Lens will offer you actions to perform: such as searches, purchases, analyzing a restaurant menu, etc.
Well, now Google Lens also allows users to do something else for practical purposes. And it is to copy and paste a text seen on paper or any other physical support, to take it directly to the computer. It is a perfect option to transfer written notes to the computer, continue working with them or to avoid having to type all the text of a note that we only have on paper and not digitally.
Okay, that may seem like a feature from the future, but it's actually here. If you have Google Lens on your mobile, you will see that the option is fully operational. We tell you how it works in just a few steps.

Start using Google Lens on your mobile
The first is the first. If you have never used Google Lens yet, perhaps it is time to install the application on your mobile. You can download it directly from here. Once installed on your phone, we can take the first steps:
1. The first thing you should do is open the app. Do you already have a text in front of you that you can photograph?
2. Once open, if you want the tool to be even more precise, you can click on the text document icon. Next, you must point to the text you want to copy Then, click on the same capture icon so that the text appears fixed on the screen, as if from a snapshot it will be.
3. Regarding the amount of text detected, you must choose which exact part you want to selectYou can easily do it with your finger, just like you usually select your texts on the phone. If you need it, of course, you can also select everything.
4. Click on the option Copy to a computer You will see that immediately a small window is activated at the bottom of the screen, in which the system will propose you to copy the selected text to any of the computers you have at home or at work. All those in which you have logged in with your user account will appear. Therefore, remember that…
- Must be the same Google account (mobile and desktop)
- You must be logged in right now (if it is closed, the text will not be copied)
- The browser you use must necessarily be Chrome (Google's)
Copy the text to your computer with Google Lens
And now let's go to the computer to copy the text that you have captured from your mobile with Google Lens:
1. Open Chrome, then launch Google Docs or whatever type of document you need (it can be a presentation or spreadsheet, no problem).
2. Now, right-click on the blank space and choose Paste. This is all.
3. You will see that automatically, the text is transferred to your computer. Easy, right?
If you run into any problems during the process, it's probably because you haven't successfully logged in on one of your devices. Double check that everything is in order and repeat the procedure.
