So you can surprise with figures and objects in Augmented Reality on your mobile
Table of contents:
At the moment, Google uses this dynamic only for a series of contents:
- animals: terrestrial, aquatic, birds, domestic pets, among others.
- Chauvet Cave
- Apollo 11
- Neil Armstrong
- Human body systems: skeletal system, circulatory system, muscular system, etc.
- animal, plant, bacteria cells
You just have to search in Google from your mobile using the corresponding term and scroll to the option “View in 3D” as shown shows in the picture. Once you select it, it will show you what the 3D object looks like and the option to “View in your space”.
If this is your first time doing this, Google will ask you to enable some permissions. And then, all that remains is to follow the instructions so that the object is displayed correctly in your space.
You can zoom, pan, rotate or interact with labels that have some content, for example, cells or the human body . One detail to keep in mind is that you can view this type of content only if your mobile is compatible with ARCore.
If you can't find the option to see some of the topics we mentioned in augmented reality, don't worry, there is no problem with your account or mobile. You only have to apply a small change, since although you will find most of these themes in Spanish, in some they are only available in English. So temporarily change the browser language from Configuration or Settings.
How to record and share it with your friends
Do you want to play a prank on your friends with this Google feature? You can do it by creating fun videos with these AR objects invading your home, turning your dining room into a virtual zoo, or simulating that you interact with dangerous animals in 3D. Or you can even choreograph for TikTok using any of those elements.
To do this, you just have to use the function that Google adds in the same interface of the search engine. You just have to press and hold the button to record (as if you were using the device's camera) and you're done. You will now have your video to share on social networks or send it to your friends via WhatsApp.
