For some time Instagram has allowed us to make donations to different associations and causes through Instagram Stories. Any user can put a donation sticker and choose from a list of NGOs to help with a port. Now, these donations are coming to Instagram Live, so you can make them.
This new feature is coming to all users starting today. The objective is to raise money for the main associations and causes of different categories.Especially those who fight against Covid-19. If we are watching a direct on Instagram, and the user has added a donation sticker to an association, a notice will appear at the bottom, between the comments and the text box. There will appear the name of the foundation, the objective of the donation and how much has been collected in that direct, as well as the number of donations. If we want to make a donation, we just have to click on the button that appears at the bottom and choose the amount. Then it will take us to the payment gateway, where we will have to associate our card and confirm the donation.
When we make a donation, Instagram will activate an 'I Donated' sticker 'I Donated' in English in our stories, and we will be able to share it with our followers.
Now you can create and donate to fundraisers on Instagram Live. ❤️ All money raised goes to the nonprofit.
Donate and you'll see a new “I Donated” sticker in stories. Use it and your photo/video will be added to a shared story where friends can see how you're giving back ? pic.twitter.com/RIKRP93XSY

Can I add the donation sticker in my direct?
At the moment the option to make a direct and include the donation sticker is not active. At least, not for users who have not been verified on Instagram. It is likely that this Sticker is only available to those with the most impact. That is, those with more than 10,000 followers or those that have been verified.
In any case, you can always do your bit in Instagram live when you see this option at the bottom. Or, sharing a story with the sticker and asking for a donationIt is important to mention that all proceeds go to that organization. Neither the user nor the social network itself will keep a percentage of what is collected.
