A few days ago GeForce Now, Nvidia's alternative to Google Stadia, announced that playing on its platform would remain free until June of this year. The reason is that the platform is still somewhat green and after the recent arrival of many Ubisoft games, the company wants to continue testing the service for free. If you haven't played Nvidia GeForce Now, you should know that it is an application that can be installed on practically any device (also on mobile phones) to play in streaming.
Play on Nvidia GeForce Now is free at the moment, then you will have to pay a subscription of €5.49 per month to be able to have access to the service. The good thing about this subscription is that it will avoid waiting lines which, at peak times, are quite long. Despite this, playing on GeForce Now is a joy and its performance is excellent. Just find a controller at home (most consoles are compatible).
What games can be played for free on Nvidia GeForce Now?
As in Google Stadia, playing in GeForce Now is free but not its games, which you must have purchased in order to be enjoyed. Even so, if you don't have any games purchased, you should know that you can play the games that the service offers for free and at this moment there are more than 60 games. The complete list is left below. In addition to the games that you can see in it, you should know that, from time to time, they also play the odd triple A game for free at no cost.

How to play on GeForce Now?
If you want to enjoy the free Nvidia GeForce Now games, you just have to install the application on your Android mobile, since it is currently not available on the App Store due, in part, to to Apple's high commissions. The application is compatible with Android phones that meet the following requirements:
- Android phones compatible with OpenGL ES 3.2.
- 2 GB of RAM memory at least.
- Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher versions.
- Internet connection via 5GHz WiFi with at least 15 Mbps download speed.
- A Bluetooth gamepad.
You can also enjoy these games on Android tablets, Android TV devices, the Nvidia Shield, and PCs, both Windows and Mac OS X.
Which controllers are compatible with Nvidia GeForce Now?
To play you will need a controller, and these are the ones that are compatible with the platform:
- Nvidia Shield Controller.
- Razer Raiju Mobile.
- Steelseries XL.
- Steelseries Stratus Duo.
- PlayStation 4 controller via Bluetooth or USB.
- Xbox 360 controller via USB OTG connected to the mobile.
- Xbox One controller via Bluetooth or USB.
The application also displays a virtual controller on the screen if you don't have any compatible controller but the truth is that it is quite uncomfortable and nor does Nvidia itself recommend using this method for long-term gaming.
This way of playing is very good because you don't need high hardware on your PC nor a last generation console. If you want to play any of the games and you think it is too expensive, you can buy Steam keys where they are cheaper and then enjoy them through the service, you will also find games compatible with the platform that are not officially supported and are free...
