Google knows this and is extending up to 12 the number of people who can participate in a group video call. Don't worry, it's a simple and practical process that requires only a few steps.

Just look for the “Create groups” option and it will automatically give you the option to add up to 11 more people to your video call.

If you have given access to Google Duo to access your contacts, you just have to search for them in the list that the app will present to you, or add them manually by adding the phone number of the person you want to invite the meeting.

And then all that remains is to wait for your guests to join the video calls. One detail to keep in mind is that you don't need to update the app to see this change in Google Duo, since the update occurs automatically from the server side.
