How to change the size and font of the Disney+ sub titles
Table of contents:
Now that Disney+ is among us, some questions arise about the use of the service. At least in small details, since its applications are very intuitive and are very reminiscent of others of the same type. However, there may always be some functionality that we are not clear about or that we do not know how to use it. Today we are going to tell you how to change the size and font of the Disney sub titles+
How to customize the appearance of sub titles on Disney+?
Disney+ allows you to change the appearance and style of sub titles on any device. The way to do this varies from device to device, although they are all quite similar.
Please note that any changes we make to the caption style apply to all device profiles, but not to all deviceswhere we use Disney+. That is, the changes are saved on the device we are using.
Let's see how it is done on the different devices where we can use the new Disney application.
Android phones and tablets
On mobile devices, the activation of the sub titles will be done in the Settings of the terminal and not within the Disney+ application. So we cannot give precise instructions for all terminals, since the steps to follow will depend on the mobile we have.
What we can tell you is that you have to look for the Accessibility option Within this option you should have another one related to sub titles. If you have a search engine you can search directly for Subtítulos in it to see if you get the correct Settings option.
Once located, it must be activated. It will be on this screen where you can configure the size of the text, the font and even the language.
iPhone and iPad
As in Android phones, in iOS we also have to configure the sub titles in System Settings. To do this we will go to the option Accessibility – Sub titles – Style In this screen we can choose a predefined style or create a personalized one.
Apple TV
To configure the sub titles in the Apple multimedia player we will go to the Settings or System Configuration section In the General tab we will look for Accessibility and then the Sub titles option. The Style screen will be where we can choose the type of sub titles we want to use.
Smart TV
Now let's see how we can do it on a Smart TV. While watching a video on Disney+, select the Audio and Sub titles button at the top right of the video player.
Once here we select the option «Sub titles style». On this screen we can customize the appearance of the sub titles for the content that we are going to see on the television. Changes are automatically saved.
Amazon Fire TV
On Amazon Fire TV you will also have to change it from the Device Settings tab. You must go to the Accessibility option and then to “Sub titles preferences”.
It will be on this screen where we can customize the appearance of the sub titles and any text on the screen that the device shows us.
Playstation 4
If we are using Disney+ on a PS4 we can also change the appearance of the sub titles. For them we must go to the section Console Configuration and, as in mobile phones, look for the Accessibility option.
Here we will have an option called Sub titles. The first thing to do is check the box next to Show Sub titles and then select “Sub title Settings”. From this screen we can customize the appearance of the sub titles on PS4.
Xbox One
And we finish with the Xbox One. To customize the sub titles on the Microsoft console we will have to press the Xbox button on the remote and enter the option System . Once here we go to Settings – Ease of access – Sub titles.
This screen will be where we can customize the appearance of the sub titles when playing multimedia content on our Xbox console.
