How to download the Disney+ app on a Samsung TV
First let's see which TVs are compatible. According to Disney's own documentation, the Disney+ app is available for Samsung TVs from 2016, as long as they support HD video and use the Tizen operating system.
Disney+ is not compatible with Samsung TVs running Orsay OS or embedded web browser. In other words, the Korean manufacturer has given a lot of room, so the vast majority of televisions on the current market should have the application.
Downloading the app on a Samsung TV is really easy. Just by moving the cursor to the Apps icon you will see Disney+ in the Recent section.
If not, you can enter Apps and search for the application. When you click on it, it will be installed directly and it will ask you for the username and password.
Once installed you can place it in the shortcuts bar to have it more at hand and be able to access it quickly.
How to download the Disney+ app on an LG TV
Just like on Samsung models, downloading the app on LG TVs is really easy. But first we need to know if our TV is compatible or not.
Disney+ is available on all LG televisions that have the webOS platform version 3.0 and later That is, theare included LG TVs in versions of 2016 or later TVs with NetCast system are not supported and web browser is not supported by any LG TV.
To download the application on an LG television we will have to enter the LG Content Store. The most common thing is that the Disney + application appears in the main menu, as you can see in the image above. You have it in the upper right corner.
But if this is not the case, you only have to enter the section «Applications and Games». Once here, we were surprised that the application does not appear in News, at least for now. You will have to look for it in the section Entertainment.
When we have it located we only have to select it and click on Install. Once installed, it will appear in the main application bar of the television and we can place it wherever we like.
