How to Reset an Amazon Echo

If there is something wrong with the configuration or you see that your Amazon Echo is not working correctly, you will need to reset it. To do this, go back to the Alexa app and go to the 'Devices' section. Then, click on the 'Echo and Alexa' button. Select your speaker model and scroll down to the option that says 'Deregister'. Once deregistered, the Echo will erase all data and we can sync again. This process may take a few minutes, depending on the number of Skills we have.

In the event that the device does not complete setup, try unplugging it from power and waiting a few minutes before plugging it back in for setup to start. It is also recommended to uninstall the application and reinstall it.
