Google has been working for some time to improve its machine learning, that is, its artificial learning capacity. Socratic is the new Google app that, through the use of Artificial Intelligence, can learn what you are doing at school and university to help you solve complex problems.Socratic is not your typical app that magically solves things, but rather a resource that allows you to find ways to learn how to solve certain problems. The application is designed for students and, above all, for everything that has to do with the mathematical field.
But… how exactly does Socratic work? What does it actually do?
The application in question analyzes the problems you have in front of you (with the use of the camera and OCR recognition) to give you useful results that allow you to access websites that explain the resolution of those problems in question. You'll see a lot of results with videos, step-by-step explanations, and much more so you can progress at your own pace.
Socratic does not actually search like you would directly on Google, but is able to choose from resources curated by teachers and experts that will give you visual explanations of some subjects to learn how to handle all the concepts behind the problems it is capable of solving.Currently able to search for resources for the subjects: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, physics, history, and literature
From their official website they assure us that will soon support more subjects. The problem is that it is currently in English (and there is still no beta phase in Spanish). That is why you can use it if English is a friendly language for you, otherwise it may be better to wait a bit for the application itself to be translated or able to search among resources that are in Spanish.
