We Spaniards are not entirely convinced of going to vote so often. Much less if we have to go to the polls because of politicians who disagree. The results of the 10-N elections were known just last night and with 100% scrutinized (in the absence of the vote of Spaniards residing abroad), we know that three relevant things have happened.
First, that the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has been the one that has obtained the most seats, despite the fact that it has lost three compared to the April elections. The second, as predicted by the polls, Ciudadanos has collapsed and in what way, losing no more and no less than 47 seats. The third and last, and probably most worrying, that the extreme right has broken into Parliament with force, getting a whopping 52 seats. Almost nothing.
Be that as it may, the political panorama that is presented to us for the coming months promises to be complicated. If you want to set the record straight, you may want to review the election results in an official source. Did you know that the Government of Spain makes an application available to citizens with all the information and electoral results of 10N?
Check the 10N electoral results from the app
You don't have to look in the newspapers or rummage through web pages. All you have to do is download the official app. You have it available for both iOS and Android and, logically, it is one hundred percent free.
Once the application is downloaded, all you have to do is open it. You can choose between five different languages: Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician and Valencian. As soon as you have it, click on the Continue button. Now you will have to accept the general conditions of use of the application and from there you will have the opportunity to consult all the information related to the General Elections of 10-N
As soon as you enter, you will have access to the following information:
- Opening and Participation
- Results
The first thing you will be able to consult is the information about participation. Both the first and the second trailer. In fact, you will have the option to check the differences with respect to the April elections. You have the option to verify the national total or access this data by autonomous community.
Check the results in Congress and the Senate
In addition to the participation data, you will have the opportunity to check the results in Congress and the Senate. Click on the Results button. As soon as you access this section you will be able to verify the state total. Here you have both the number of seats, as well as the percentage of support obtained by each party and, finally, the exact number of votes.
You can also check what have been the electoral results of the 10N of each autonomous community,in addition to the corresponding graphics, which will help you see the data more clearly.
If you want to see the Senate results, all you have to do is click on the salmon button that appears at the bottom of the screen and that reads See Senate Results. Here you also have the option to see the total number of senators obtained nationwide by each of the parties and compare them with those of the elections last April and take a look at the results obtained by autonomous communities
