Spotify is one of the best options we have to listen to streaming music. The platform continues to innovate and now allows the little ones in the house to have their own space with Spotify Kids. It is not a new modality or subscription plan, Spotify Kids is an independent application from which only those users who have a Premium Family Plan (15 euros per month) can benefit.

Spotify Kids includes playlists created with care for children, stories to listen to, soundtracks from children's films and even "Sing-Along", with the viewing of musical films in which the songs are sub titled for be able to sing them in karaoke mode.In this sense, parents can choose between “Audio for younger children” or “Audio for older children” depending on the age of the minor. In any case, this option is designed for children from 3 years old.

We can compare Spotify Kids with other types of children's platforms just for children, such as YouTube Kids, Netflix Kids or HBO Kids, but for music instead of video. The really interesting thing is that we will no longer have to be so aware of them when they use Spotify, since they will have their own specific app, safe and with parental control, just in case we want to further increase your safety. It is precisely in this section where we can select the audio depending on the child's age.

Among the main features of Spotify Kids we can highlight that it does not contain ads, since it falls within the Premium Family Plan. Likewise, all the content has been selected by and for children, which guarantees that the songs and playlist available are suitable for our children. On the other hand, it has the possibility of filtering explicit content or playing songs without an Internet connection, although for now only for iOS devices.

At the moment, Spotify Kids has only landed in Ireland in beta version, although it is expected that it will soon reach other markets where the Premium Family Plan is available, such as Spain. Once this is the case, using Spotify Kids is as simple as downloading the app from Google Play or the App Store, as well as logging in with your username and password of our Premium Family Plan.
