GO Fighting League: Free matches come to Pokémon GO
After several years of waiting, Niantic has confirmed the GO Battle League for Pokémon Go, which is nothing more than the possibility of playing in competitive online mode. The new The feature will arrive in early 2020. The developer has not provided details on the exact date, but has promised that they will share more details in a video soon. It will be then when we will be able to see the first sequences of this competitive multiplayer mode.
From what is known so far, this new modality will give players the chance to enter a specific league, and then fight against other trainers from all over the world in battles through a system that will match them online and randomly. As more battles you win, the more your rank will go up or down. In this way, there will not only be online PvP fights, but also ranks and rankings. Thus, depending on the level demonstrated, the category will be raised or lowered.
With the Go Battle League, Niantic hopes to make the Pokémon GO battle experience more competitive and accessible to the greatest number of trainers. As we say, the new function will be ready at the beginning of 2020, without an exact date at the moment.
In the meantime, we're also looking forward to other Pokémon Go events in the coming weeks. Among them is Halloween, which will take place from October 17 to November 1.During those days, there will be a greater presence of Shadow Pokémon from Team GO Rocket at PokéStops, such as Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Electabuzz, Nuzleaf, Trapinch, Magmar, Lapras, Mareep, Sableye, Seedot, Cacnea, Duskull, and Shuppet. On the other hand, there is also the possibility of running into a shiny Yamask or seeing Ghost and Dark type Pokémon, such as Gastly or Murkrow.
During those days we can also highlight the return of Darkrai to the Incursions, well known for his ability to appear at night causing nightmares. And it is that those who are trapped in their dreams will not be able to wake up unless Darkrai wants it to, or the effect is counteracted by a Lunar Feather or Cresselia. Darkrai is one of the most powerful raid bosses to appear in Pokémon GO with a CP of 65,675 This means you should focus on gathering Fighting-type Pokémon and Bug-type to face him in case you find him. However, if you manage to add it to your Pokédex it won't really do you much good for future raids or gyms, as it's quite hard to get candy to make it viable.
