Memojis are an identical (or almost) version of us in the form of Animoji. The option to create a personalized emoji arrived with iOS 12, but it was with iOS 13 that the possibility of transforming these fun emoticons into stickers to share through the Messages app or through different social networks was activated. Did you know that these stickers can also be sent via WhatsApp? We'll show you how.
First of all, it will be necessary to create a Memoji, and for this we will need an iPhone or iPad. It's the only way, as this is an exclusive Apple feature. Therefore, on Android we will not be able to create these stickers. Although later I will show you a method that may help you.
To create the Memoji you must go to the Messages app and click on the compose icon that appears in the upper area. Then, Click on the Memojis button that will appear at the top and create your own. You can customize the shape of the head, eyes, lips, nose, hair... You can even add accessories, such as earrings or AirPods. Once created, click on the Memojis button again. You will see that your face appears in the form of a Sticker and shows different emoticons. As seen in the image. This means that the Stickers are already created, how can we share them on WhatsApp?
As you already know, WhatsApp allows you to send stickers in conversations. These can be downloaded from the WhatsApp gallery itself or through third parties. In the case of Memojis, they will not appear in the gallery, but they can be sent. To send a Memoji Sticker, click on a conversation in the WhatsApp app. Then, Open the keyboard and click the emoji button that appears at the bottom. It is very important that you access it from the iPhone keyboard option, since otherwise they will not appear to you.
Once inside the emoji gallery, swipe to the right You will see that the stickers created with your face appear. You just have to click on one to send it. Also, if we click on the button with the three points we will access more Apple stickers. The user will receive it like any other sticker. If you want them to appear in the WhatsApp favorites gallery, send as many as you want to a conversation and then tap on the sticker. The option to add to Favorites will appear. Note that the recipient can also save it. In addition to your emojis created with your face, you can also send Animoji stickers, such as a goat, unicorn, giraffe…
Memojis on Android, so it is possible to have them
And this is where Android users can take advantage of these Memojis. Do you have a friend with an iPhone? Ask them to create a Memoji from their device and send you the stickers via WhatsApp So you can save them in the favorites gallery and send them after. Of course, they will only serve you for WhatsApp and not for other applications. You can also go to a third-party application, but they do not look like Apple emojis. I've been looking for an app on Google Play and I haven't found any decent one that allows me to create something similar to what Apple does.
