This is the fastest way to post on Instagram on Android mobile
Table of contents:
With the arrival of Android 7 Nougat came the shortcuts in the shortcuts of the applications. What does this mean? Well, if we hold down, for a few seconds, a shortcut icon that we have placed on the desktop of our mobile, several 'subicons' will appear, all belonging to functions of the application that we have pressed, to facilitate their use. the users. In this way, if, for example, we wanted to have a direct access to our way home in Google Maps, we only had to press and hold the Google Maps icon and extract the sub-icon, placing it later on the desktop.
Place new Instagram shortcuts on your desktop
Now, after three years of waiting, some Instagram users have reported that some very useful sub-icons have finally started to appear on their Instagram icon, with which we can save a lot of time for the time to access certain sections of the well-known photography application. In the screenshot provided by Android Police we can see these sub-icons that some users can already access from their mobile and that, as we said before, we can access them by holding down the application icon for a few moments. The icon must be placed, yes, on the desktop screen to later be much easier to 'extract' said subicon and place it as its own icon.
The new shortcuts that we can place on the desktop referring to Instagram are:
- Direct. It will be like having a WhatsApp application but related to Instagram. If we click on this shortcut we will enter directly into the direct messages section of the application.
- View Activity. Shortcut that takes us to the activity tab to discover who has interacted with us, the new followers we have , etc.
- New Post. To be able to post to Instagram with a single touch. Forget about opening the application and then clicking on the '+' icon, with this new access we can post a post with a single gesture.
- Camera. See something that can go away quickly? Need a shortcut to the Instagram camera? Here it is.
If you try and still don't have the new subicons feature you should wait for a soon update.
