This is the shameless copy of Mario Bros that triumphs on Google Play
We are not exaggerating if we say that Mario Bros games have been the favorites of children and not so children for the last 30 years. It is not surprising, therefore, that copies appear emulating the video game giant. The last one is called Bob's World and it is already available for download on the Google Play with many positive comments. However, we also find some negatives, which complain, above all, that it even has the same sound as the original game.
The truth is that the tone of the game is almost identical. Here your task is to help Bob run through a jungle, jumping over obstacles and defeating evil monsters to try to save the princess. To do this you will have to use the buttons to jump, move and shoot. Another of the peculiarities of this app, which reminds us a lot of Mario Bros, is the need to having to eat different items (instead of mushrooms) to get stronger and be able to defeat all the monsters that appear.
In the same way, you will also have to collect all the coins and bonus items to get more points and thus be able to buy additional items in the shop. If you look at the game's presentation video, the similarity with Mario Bros is enormous. In this case, Bob is walking, jumping on the turtles and placing bricks to pick up explosives that he will later use to throw them at his enemies.Don't forget to take the green potion to get bigger as soon as you've been hit.
As in Mario Bros, there is also an underwater part in which you must be very careful with the fish, and go collecting the coins that you find in your path. As in all Mario Bros level terms, in Bob's World it will be necessary to face the final monster, jumping on top of it, avoiding its flames, so that after how many touches you manage to defeat it and thus be able to go to the next screen.
It should be noted that Bob's World is completely free. It is available from Google Play for Android phones and tablets. In any case, it is not the only one that imitates the original. There are also others like Lep's World or Super Jungle Adventures that are quite reminiscent of the classic Mario Bros, although perhaps much less than this one.
