How to set up When & Where
The first thing you need to do when you install the app is to grant it location and camera permissions. You'll even have to take a photo to start using When & Where. But the use is comfortable thanks to its only buttons and its simplified design.
The first thing to do is click on the three lines in the upper left corner. Here click on the Contacts section to give permission to the application and establish an alert contact This person will be the one who receives the message with your current location in case it happens something.
From now on you can use When & Where as normal, activating the application when you don't feel safe. So you can click on the Start button to wander quietly without a specific direction. The operation of the application will start to ask you if you are in a dangerous situation if there is a sudden change in your behavior.
But if you know where you are going, you must click on the button Take me to… (take me to…).Here you must enter the address to which you are going, to know if you comply with the route or there is something unforeseen in it. And that's it, you can start walking quietly.

The application remains active in the background, recording if you approach the marked destination. Or if you roam freely, marking your location to know where you are. Thus, When & Where is capable of detecting if you stop abruptly at some point Or if you change direction, moving away from your destination. If this happens, a notification is launched to ask if you are okay.
The notification shows two answer buttons. Of course, it makes itself felt with a prolonged vibration. In this way, and if nothing happens other than having been distracted along the way or voluntarily deviating, you can click on the affirmative button and continue on.If you are in a dangerous situation and you can press the No button, you will automatically call the contact you have previously configured.
If you were unable to press the No button, the application will wait 30 seconds before sending a location message to that emergency contact.
