It seems incredible that it's been three years since Pokémon GO became a social phenomenon that attracted millions of people. Its simple and addictive mechanism of capturing Pokémon in our reality became a magnet for half the planet: it encouraged sedentary people to get off the sofa, since to catch the creatures we had to move down the street and it reopened the debate on the addiction to screens Three years go a long way: obviously it is no longer the phenomenon it was, but the game is not dead, far from it.There are still loyal trainers who are determined to become the best thanks to their network of creatures.
Four new species await you in Pokémon GO
Niantic knows Pokémon GO is his darling and keeps updating it to keep loyal players happy and engaged. In the latest update to the game, the developers released four new species of creatures that trainers can catch: they are Alolan Sandshrew, Absol, Mawile, and Alolan VulpixThese four species were not available to trainers, in the wild, before the new update. This can be an incentive for you, a former Pokémon GO player, to cheer up and give the game a try again.
Prior to this new update there was only one way to capture Mawile and Absol species: through so-called 'raids', another of the great novelties with which Niantic wanted to restore the faith of the fallen trainers. To get them we had to defeat them in combat. The other two species of Pokémon, the Alolan Vulpix and the Alolan Sandshrew, appeared when the seven kilometer eggs finally hatched.
It's not clear if this new feature will stay in the game forever or it's a special event from Niantic. To get them you just have to take to the streets with a good battery, good shoes and kick the roads. Who knows, you might find them right around the corner. Remember to exercise caution while playing Pokémon GO to prevent accidents!
