Dark mode is coming to the Gallery Go photo app
One of the latest Google applications to arrive is updated. And all this to mark the trend of the dark modes that are flooding the Google operating system and the applications that run on Android. This is Gallery Go, the shortened version of Google Photos to review the gallery, albums, and photos stored in the device's memory and in the cloud. If you are one of those who have decided to simplify things on your mobile, either because it is a terminal with few resources or because you prefer to take advantage of them for something else, know that Gallery Go's dark mode is already here.
It arrives with its latest update, which brings the number v.1.0.2.262023587 if you are one of those who likes to specify. It has been launched through the Google Play Store but, as usual, it may still take a few days to be available in the Google application store in Spain. Also, we must not lose sight of the fact that it is an application focused on mobiles with fewer resources, especially those that run Android One, so your mobile may not list it in the Google Play Store. But below we tell you how to get it.

In fact, if you are a user of an Android phone updated to the Pie version, you will already have the function of darkening your applications from the settings.Enough to enjoy Gallery Go in the dark, without this update bringing anything new for you. But if you use Android Oreo you can already activate it in the settings, as a real novelty of the recent update that has just arrived. The change is not noticeable in the user experience, since the buttons, menus and other elements remain intact. It just changes the clean, light white color of the background to a darker shade.
The rest of the menus and functions remain unchanged. So the difference is when using this application in the dark, for example, where the brightness of the screen will not bother us as much. Or also when it comes to maintaining the autonomy of the terminal, where the use of a dark color should be noticeable when it comes to consuming fewer resources between screen and battery. Although it's more of an aesthetic issue than anything else Especially in low-end terminals.
All you have to do is visit the Gallery Go download page on the Google Play Store to see if you can get hold of the latest version of the app And, if you can't get hold of it there or don't want to wait, you can download it directly from the APKMirror app repository.
