This would be the dark mode of Facebook for Android
In a world where apps are getting whiter and brighter, it's no wonder to see more and more users clamoring for dark modes. Facebook added it earlier this year to its Messenger communication app, and is now doing the same in its own Android app Thanks to this dark mode not only we can relax our eyes when using the service, it will also allow us to save battery.
Apparently, the dark mode of Facebook for Android is not quite ready.Until now only some parts of the application have been renewed, which means that when using it there could be setbacks such as dark text on a dark background, among others. This has caused the company to have to work harder for a global release, which could take some time. According to a Facebook executive, there is no actual date for the public release of dark mode, but it could be quite a while for an app like Facebook.
In a filtered image we see what the dark mode would look like in the Facebook app. If you look closely, there would still be things to polish, although it looks pretty good. As is logical, this new feature could be activated whenever we decided, as is the case with the dark mode of Messenger already available. The messaging application made it available to its users last month of April, after several months of testing.Activating it is very simple. Just follow a few steps.
- Enter the settings section. To do this, click on your profile image (at the top left)
- Turn on the Dark Mode option.
- Once activated, the interface will turn black, which will help save battery life if your terminal has an AMOLED panel, or so that it does not dazzle us when we are talking in low light or in the dark.
