WhatsApp needs to keep improving if it wants to establish itself as the great leader of messaging. Some competitors such as the new RCS client from Google and Telegram have been going strong, although they are still far from catching up with the giant Facebook. However, application development needs to run its course and the new feature that is about to come to the application has been requested by users for a long time .
WABetaInfo has leaked, through a tweet, that WhatsApp will soon allow listen to voice notes from notifications on iOS (iPhone ).This change comes after users have insisted on adding it, months after we can do the same with images and videos in the application.
Audios would only be heard from notifications on iOS
I leave this here. Yes, it's a push notification with an incoming voice message, on iOS. It will be available in the future (maybe in a major update with other features?) pic.twitter.com /eSm55GxFuO

There is no indication that this change will be coming to Android although we assume that it will, in this case, months or weeks after the feature is released for iPhone mobiles. The feature will not be available soon, this change will surely come with a big WhatsApp update along with other changes.
It is rumored that the ability to listen to WhatsApp voice notes from push notifications on iPhone devices would not arrive until the release of the new version of its operating system, iOS 13.This new update of the apple mobile operating system is scheduled for the last quarter of the current year. Everything indicates that it will be launched in October of this year and this could be one of its main novelties.
We don't know what will happen to the voice note after it is heard
The only thing that has been leaked leaves us no clue as to what will happen to the notification once heard It is not known if WhatsApp will opt by automatically deleting it at the end of the voice memo or if it will be left active until the user decides to get rid of it. What we can see is that it will allow us to listen to the audio from start to finish, without any need to open the WhatsApp application.
On Android this feature should be accompanied by the possibility to listen to these audios from the notifications that are displayed on top of the applications. Are you looking forward to having this feature?
