In addition, now you can participate in a new challenge on social networks: the FaceAppChallenge. Take a before and after photo and tag it with the hashtag FaceAppChallenge.

As soon as we open the application and go through the presentation screens, we must give it permission to access our photos and camera. Once done, the application will automatically search for all the selfies it finds on your mobile and will place them in a mosaic, so that if you don't feel like it, you don't have to take another picture. Choose the photo you want to retouch and the mobile will begin to process it, then giving you a screen with a bottom bar.

In this lower bar you will find different icons corresponding to the different skins offered in the application:

• Smiles. Add a smile to your selfie, in case you came off too serious.
• Age. Do you want to know how you will age? Fear not and hit this icon. Inside you will have to choose between several age models, between young and old.

• Beards. Complex because you don't have a beard or it doesn't close or you have more bald spots than a baby? With this filter you will have solved it.
• Dyes. Gray hair? Do you want to see yourself with brand-black hair again?
• Hairstyles. Before you go to the barber, try some of these hairstyles, then show the photo to whoever's cutting you hair.
• Glasses. Glasses+beards make the perfect combo to become a true hipster

In the rest of the functions we can use FaceApp like any other photo editing application, cropping the photo, adding vignettes, double exposure, backgrounds, blurs... The best thing about FaceApp is, without a doubt, the result that offers.The assembly is so realistic that, at times, it can even give a bit of a bad feeling. On the negative point is that many masks that we can apply are only available upon payment. If we want 'premium' filters, updates, photos without watermarks and nothing else, it will cost us 4 euros a month, 20 euros a year or 44 euros to unlock all the functions forever.
